As you may have guessed, my name is Vicki Whyte. I am 37 years old and I live on the outskirts of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia.

I recently became married the most wonderful man on earth, Robert Whyte. We were married in the Northgate Uniting Church on October 27th, 2001.

We live in a large house (three levels and four bedrooms) that is Robert's family home. He has been taking care of it for several years and we moved in here after we got married. We are hoping to move sometime this year and are hoping to get further to the Northside of Brisbane to be closer to both our families.

Our home is shared with four cats Augie, Siani, Issy and Lottie. A lot of people make the mistake of saying they *own* their cats. This is a serious mistake. At best they share your home. At worst, they own you!

As you can probably tell, I love cats. I always have. At school, whenever I had to give a report or do an essay, I would always manage to bring cats into it somewhere! I don't remember a time that my family didn't have cats - and they still have six of their own today!

My family consists of my Grandmother (my parents have both passed away) and a sister and two brothers. Leah is still single (anyone interested? :) but both brothers (twins, Peter and Tim) are married, one with two children and one with five! It's a good thing that I love being an Aunty!

I get along wonderfully with my new in-laws (they are a God-send!) and spend time with them each week. Rob and I also enjoy going to a comedy club, karaoke (when I can drag him along!), seeing movies and eating out ocassionally. We also enjoy long drives and picnics, listening to good music and just sitting at home watching television. We are not hard to please!

I have been on the Internet now for eight years. Mostly I use it for email (I am on several mailing lists - mostly cat ones! - and have many "email buddies"), usenet (posting to newsgroups about various topics) and surfing for new links. Sometimes I wonder where I find the time!
